Smartphone maker Infinix has developed a new affordable smartphone in India. The new Infinix NOTE 12i is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and features a 50MP primary camera. The company notes that the Infinix NOTE 12i is also equipped with face unlock and a multifunctional side fingerprint sensor, allowing users to easily operate the smartphone. Infinix Note 12i uses a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 60Hz, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor with an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU up to 1000MHz, 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. Supports 3GB virtual memory.
The phone runs on Android 12 with an XOS 10.6 custom skin out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. There is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
