iPhone 14 Pro Camera Issue: Owners Complain Of Its Slow Response

– Published On: September 21, 2022 , 12:07 pm

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max customers have complained about camera issues. In a new development, some claimed that the camera app on the device is taking some time to open. This issue seems on the earlier one in which some early owners of the newly-launched handset claimed that their camera shakes and makes noises in third-party apps. Apple included new camera hardware, including a new 48-megapixel primary sensor, in the iPhone 14 Pro model of handset.

Macrumors says iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max customers have complained that the camera app took about four to five seconds to open after tapping the Camera app icon. The problem occurs when the app runs in the background and “does not appear when it has been manually closed, reopened, or after a software restart.”

Apart from this, users faced problems in photo mode, which does not appear to happen in video mode. The exciting thing is that the problem seems limited to the Camera app and does not affect third-party camera apps. Macrumors says that the recently introduced iOS 16.0.1 update does not seem to fix the issue. Neither restarting the iPhone nor factory resetting the device gives a permanent solution.

In a recent development, customers of the iPhone 14 Pro series took to Reddit to complain that the primary camera setup on their new handset violently shakes and makes noises when used with third-party camera apps such as Snapchat and Instagram. However, the users did not face any issues with Apple’s native camera app. The company is reported to issue a fix for the problem by next week.

These updates come with an improved Cinematic Mode and new modes like Action Mode and Photonic Engine.
