iPhone 14 To Be Manufactured In India At The Launch: Know About The Price
The iPhone 14 release is going on on time, at least that’s what the rumors are suggesting. This year too, there are going to be 4 new iPhone models launching, however, the difference could be that they’re all going to be manufactured locally in India on the release.
Apple has been locally producing a few iPhone models for a long term now, but that is the first time that iPhones could be assembled in India simultaneously with China. The report coming from a popular analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, revealed that just the 6.1-inch iPhone model dubbed the iPhone 14 could be locally manufactured in India. No reports on whether the Pro models may also be assembled locally.
Currently, Apple locally produces iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and iPhone SE across its contractors in India together with Foxconn and Wistron. According to the report, Apple’s supplier Foxconn will manufacture the iPhone 14 model this year. Neither Foxconn nor Apple, for now, have revealed any details related to the iPhone 14 series yet.
Firstly, as per reports, the iPhone 14 could be priced similarly to the launch price of the iPhone 13. This means, that the upcoming iPhone 14 will begin at $799 in the United States, which is around Rs 63,200. But, originally, in India, the iPhone 13 changed into released at a charge of Rs 79,900, and the charge of the iPhone 14 is also tipped to be the same. Regardless of that, the Cupertino-based tech giant never reduced the charge of these models. So, that would remain identical for the upcoming iPhone 14 as well. iPhones in India are priced significantly better than in the United States and that’s because of import and customs duties.
