After several rounds of leaks and rumours, Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has announced that it is ready to launch the long-awaited smartphone OPPO Reno 8T 5G to consumers in India. The company announced on Twitter that the OPPO Reno 8T 5G will launch in India on February 3.

In its latest promotional video, the company also hinted at the design of the OPPO Reno 8T. It reveals the back of the smartphone and confirms the design renders that surfaced a few days ago. Let’s take a closer look at the design, price and expected specifications of the OPPO Reno 8T.

OPPO Reno 8T 5G India launch date

OPPO Reno 8T 5G is scheduled to launch in India on February 3. Meanwhile, it is expected to launch globally in the Philippines on February 8.

OPPO Reno 8T 5G has shown off its premium exterior in Sunrise Gold color in the teaser video. However, the smartphone is also expected to come in a Dynamic Black color option. The back reveals that it will sport a dual circular camera cutout with an LED flash module. Previous reports have claimed that the smartphone will feature a hole-punch camera, volume rockers, and a SIM card tray on the left edge, while the power button will be on the right.

Oppo Reno 8T: Price, availability

The Oppo Reno 8T is expected to be priced at Php 18,999 (roughly Rs 28,500). However, it is unclear whether it will be priced for the 5G version or the 4G version. Meanwhile, another report claims that the OPPO Reno 8T 5G could be priced at Rs 32,000 in India.

OPPO Reno 8T may feature a 6.67-inch OLED 10-bit display that supports 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 108-megapixel main camera and two 2-megapixel sensors. There is a 32 MP selfie camera on the front of the smartphone.

The 4G variant of the OPPO Reno 8T is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, while the 5G variant is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. You’ll likely get it with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. These smartphones are likely to come with a 5,000mAh battery, support 67W fast charging, and run Android 13 out of the box.
