Samsung Galaxy S23 launch: Samsung Galaxy S22 price cut
Samsung is getting ready to launch its latest flagship smartphone series – the Galaxy S23. As part of the series, the smartphone maker will launch three smartphones – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Now, ahead of its official launch, the smartphone maker has dropped the price of the Samsung Galaxy S22, which was launched last year.
This is the second price cut for a smartphone. In November last year, the Samsung Galaxy S22 got a discount of Rs 10,000. After the price cut, the 128GB variant is priced at Rs 62,999 and the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 66,999. Now, the smartphone has received another price cut of Rs 5,000.
Updated Prices and Offers
After a price cut of Rs 5,000, customers can now buy the 128GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy S22 at Rs 57,999 and the 256GB variant at Rs 61,999. The smartphone is available in Phantom White, Phantom Black, Bora Purple and Green.
The smartphone maker is also offering some deals to buyers of the Samsung Galaxy S22. Customers who buy the Samsung Galaxy S22 will get a discount of Rs 2,000 on the Samsung Store app. They also get 100GB of free OneDrive cloud storage.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is equipped with a 6.1-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S22 offers two storage options – 128GB and 256GB. The smartphone runs Android 12 OS with the proprietary One UI layer on top.
The device has a triple rear camera with a 50 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 10 MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 10 MP selfie shooter on the front.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 has an IP68 rating, which keeps the smartphone dust and water resistant. The smartphone is backed by a 3,700 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
