Samsung Galaxy S23 series launches tomorrow: What to expect, timing and more

Samsung is getting ready to launch its flagship smartphone series, the Samsung Galaxy S23. The company has scheduled its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year for February 1, where it will showcase its range of smartphones.
The event takes place on February 1, kicking off at 10:00AM PST (11:30PM CST). The event will be broadcast live on the company’s official website and social media channels.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone series consists of three phones – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
A recent online report has revealed possible details about the upcoming Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones. According to a report by galaxyclub, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ could be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery, which is about 100mAh larger than the Galaxy S22+. However, the top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery, the same as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The report goes on to add that the Galaxy S23 may feature an upgraded 12-megapixel front-facing camera sensor, but the telephoto camera is said to have the same 10-megapixel sensor and 3x optical zoom capability. It is also claimed that the sensor in the ultra-wide camera will not change much. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are said to feature the same 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera as their predecessors.The report further states that it’s unclear if the Galaxy S23 Ultra will get the same 12MP sensor as its sibling.
