Sony Announce Android 13 Update For Xperia 1 IV, Xperia 5 IV: Details
The company has announced new mobile phones, Sony Xperia 1 IV and Xperia 5 IV, which are getting the latest Android 13 update. The Sony Xperia 1 IV smartphone was launched this May and featured a new telephoto lens with proper optical zoom capability. The mobile phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage. This smartphone works on Android 12 and will be updated to Android 13. Furthermore, Sony Xperia 5 IV was introduced this September, which runs on Android 12 and is packed with a long-lasting 5000mAh battery.

The company has announced that it could roll out the Android 13 update for two handsets, the Xperia 1 IV and Xperia 5 IV. More information about the update, like a timeline, has not been disclosed yet.
The Sony Xperia 1 IV was introduced in May this year. The mobile phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM +512GB of internal storage. The handset has a triple primary camera setup with three 12MP Exmor RS image sensors, which consist of a 16mm ultra-wide lens, a 24mm wide lens, and the excellent 85-125mm telephoto lens with continuous optical zoom.

The Sony Xperia 5 IV sports a full-HD+ 6.10-inch touchscreen display that gives a resolution of 1080×2520 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. The handset packs 128GB of internal storage. It set up a triple back camera featuring a 12MP+12MP+12MP and a 12MP single front camera for selfies. The Xperia 5 IV is available in Black, Ecru, White, and Green colors and comes with a 5000mAh battery.
